چکیده
The preparation of heterogeneous Fenton catalysts with both adsorption and catalytic properties has become an effective strategy for the treatment refractory organic wastewater. In this work, 4A-Fe@Cu bimetallic a three-dimensional core-shell structure were prepared by simple, template-free, surfactant-free methodology used in degradation Congo red (CR). results showed that open network positive charge surface catalyst could endow high capacity CR, reaching 432.9 mg/g. good property CR not only did inactivate site on but also promote contact between active sites accelerate process. exhibited higher activity than monometallic 4A@Cu and/or 4A-Fe due to low work function value. effects different pH, H2O2 dosages, dosages performance explored. conditions 7.2 mM H2O2, 2 g/L 4A-Fe@Cu, 1 solution, ratio reach 99.2% at pH 8. This provided guidance design high-performance Fenton-like catalysis dye wastewater treatment.

Heterogeneous UV/Fenton degradation of TBBPA catalyzed by titanomagnetite: catalyst characterization, performance and degradation products.
Tetrabromobisphenol A (TBBPA), a widely used brominated flame retardant, could negatively affect various aspects of mammalian and human physiology, which triggers effective techniques for its removal. In this work, the degradation characteristics of TBBPA in heterogeneous UV/Fenton reaction catalyzed by titanomagnetite (Fe(3-x)Ti(x)O₄) were studied. Batch tests were conducted to evaluate the ef...
متن کاملFacile fabrication of hierarchical ZnCo2O4/NiO core/shell nanowire arrays with improved lithium-ion battery performance.
We report a facile and controllable strategy for the fabrication of three-dimensional (3D) ZnCo2O4/NiO core/shell nanowire arrays (ZCO/NiO NWs) on nickel (Ni) foam substrates by a simple, cost-effective, two-step, solution-based method. Ultra-thin NiO nanosheets are revealed to grow uniformly on the porous ZnCo2O4 nanowires with many interparticle mesopores, resulting in the formation of 3D cor...
متن کاملADSORPTION OF CONGO RED DYE ON HAZELNUT SHELLS AND DEGRADATION WITH Phanerochaete chrysosporium
The present work concerns the experimental evaluation of hazelnut shells as a low cost natural biosorbent. Adsorption of the direct azo dye Congo Red was performed within a concentrations range of 50-5000 mg/L. Hazelnut shells were employed as organic support for Phanerochaete chrysosporium cultures to study the best cultural medium composition for the MnP production. The capability of Phaneroc...

متن کاملA novel microbial consortium from sheep compost for decolorization and degradation of Congo red
Congo red is a synthetic azo-dye dye with many industrial applications. The effluents containing azo dyes are causing several environmental hazards and thus should be treated prior to their discharge. The present work investigates the possible use of a novel microbial consortium from sheep compost for the decolorization of Congo red dye. The effect of different parameters including contact time...
